Examples of experience:

Recently completed a large scale evaluation of the Youth in Action programme. This is hosted by the British Council and offers opportunities for young people to become actively citizens in their own community and to arrange international meetings with their peers in other countries. Our evaluation resulted in a set of practical recommendations which enables the team to re-focus its work, build on its strengths and alliances at strategic level.

Identified the need for, attracted the funding to and set up a brand new international organisation, The International Centre of Excellence for Community Schools – convened the Board with members drawn from across the world. Prepared all paperwork, policies etc, set up process for recruiting Chief Executive.

Trained all civil servants in one government office to respond positively and flexibly to external partners and helped their organisational development so that they could change existing working practices to allow for multi-disciplinary working.

Helped a small, local non government organisation grow its products and services, re-engineering staffing structures and prepared its launch as a national organisation.
